Op/Ed in Omaha World-Herald

For those interested in farm policy, you are welcome to check out my op/ed piece in today's Omaha World-Herald. This column was prompted by comments on the editorial page in Sunday's paper, which highlighted perceived problems with the program relating to non-farm participants. It was based on a previous story in the Washington Post. (Farm Program Pays $1.3 Billion to People Who Don't Farm By Dan Morgan, Gilbert M. Gaul and Sarah Cohen). (Here is a link to the post story, but I'm not sure it works for everyone:

The editors were good enough to publish my column this morning (page 7B), though I do not believe it is available yet online.
Update: it is available here (registration required):

Happy Friday.
