My smart pal Ralph Whitten pointed out this article by MIT Professor of Atmospheric Science Richard Linzen, in yesterday's Wall Street Journal. One of his best points: "there is a clear attempt to establish truth not by scientific methods but by perpetual repetition." (Hopefully my repeated posts in this area are not interpreted as a converse example!)
